Information we collect

• Account information: email, username, display name, and password (hashed).
• Profile information: anything you add to your profile or listing.
• Activity: chat-room messages, RSVPs, favorites, comments, and reports.
• Technical data: basic device, browser, and log data to keep the service running.

How we use it

• Provide and improve the service, including authentication and account recovery.
• Operate community features (directory, calendar, chat rooms, messages).
• Moderate the community and respond to reports of inappropriate content.
• Send transactional and (optional) newsletter emails.

Chat rooms and anonymity

Community chat rooms are monitored by staff. We encourage anonymous handles — a username that isn't obviously your real name. Messages are visible to other signed-in members and to our moderators. Reports you file are visible to administrators only.

Payments and payouts

When you buy a ticket or connect a payout account, payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. Card numbers and bank details are entered directly with Stripe — Sonic Blue never sees or stores them.

• Buyers: we store your name, email, order amount, ticket quantity, and payment status so we can issue and check in tickets.
• Sellers: we store your connected account identifier and its verification status. Identity documents and bank details stay with Stripe.
• Stripe processes this data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy, including for fraud prevention and tax reporting.
• We keep transaction records as long as required for accounting, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes.
• Event organizers can see the buyer name, email, and order details for their own events.
• We record which legal documents you accepted and when, so we can prove agreement to our seller terms.

Sharing

We don't sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run the site (hosting, email, analytics), or when required by law.

Your choices

• Edit or delete content you've posted.
• Unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time.
• Request account deletion by contacting us.
